Show overshadowed by venue
"I had the first time, excited to be in Radio City Music Hall. Enchanted by the murals on all the walls and the fun glowing stirrers in the drinks, I was. Unfortunately, more in love with the venue than I was with the event itself. Candlebox has a flair for the unexpected and loves to amuse her crowd. But Radio City insisted on producing a lightshow that in the end overshadowed the music. The flashing strobelight effect made me quite dizzy. The lights shone directly at me, blinded I was. The spinning spotlights over the band gave me motion sickness. Who thought that it was a good idea to add all that nonsense? Bubbly, strange, and in her own light, Candlebox would have been quite enough to satisfy. The lightshow ruined her for me."
